The Daring came to one of the four, two mile long, bridges that led to Isle Nurna. They were asked a few questions by the guards and nearly stumbled in their answers as they attempted to simultaneously ask for directions to a healer while not revealing that two of their party was werewolves.
They were directed to The Wandering Shoe, on Harlow’s court. There the Inn Keeper, an elf named Faela, rented them each rooms. Faele also pointed them in the direction of the Temple of Gond, which may have been able to assist Drake and Du’tch.
On their way to the Temple of Gond, The Daring noticed a large refugee population which had been arranged into a camp. The Daring met Har, a halfing Priest of Gond, who was versed enough to Lycanthropy to known how to cure the affliction. Unfortunately with the influx of refugees, Har would not be able to cure them for several weeks (Despite The Daring offering to bribe him…) but Har did inform them that since the full moon had just passed, that he would be able to cure Drake and Du’tch before their next transformation.
The Daring returned to The Wandering Shoe. As usual, Leo entertained and drew in a wonderful crowd. Ghazan spent the night conversation with Bean while avoiding any intoxicants, while Yip took to the drink “Jungle Rot” like a desert traveler to fresh water.
The next morning they were woken by the sound of town’s people yelling and a general commotion. Taking a moment to don their gear, The Daring sprang into action but Yip suffered heavily from the “Jungle Rot” and seemed to hampered more than usual. The Daring were informed that one of the bridge entrances was under attack by a Hobgoblin raid. The Daring ran to the City’s defense and found a small group of guards surrounded by a small horde of Hobgoblins.
The Daring made relatively easy work of the Hobgoblins, most of the heavy lifting being done by the spells of Du’tch and Leo. And despite being told to hang out at the Inn, Bean made an appearance, ready to battle, signifying that he was ready to truly be a member of The Daring’s Adventuring Guild. Unfortunately most of the guards perished before The Daring could get to them but the Guard Captain, a human female named Brix, survived. Their heroics at the bridge were recognized and The Daring was invited to a meal with Einreb Srednas.
At the Dinner The Daring thanked immensely by Einreb (Were they given some type of award or medal?) and The Daring informed the new City leader that they wanted to be part of history and make a name for themselves at the new city. Einreb offered them a handful of tasks that would help the city and The Daring chose to take care of the Hobgoblin army that had been raiding the city. It is Clan Jigabite, led by Jiggbone.
Throughout the fight on the bridge and then the meal Ghazan had made a connection with Brix and would go on a date with her (I honestly don’t remember what came of this – So someone else will have to fill it in).
The next morning Ghazan tracked the Hobgoblin’s to an outpost where only two hobgoblins were on lookout. Using some magical assistance the entire group stealthy approached the camp and quietly took the two out. Afterwards The Daring began to plan how they would assault an entire Hobgoblin army.
